The La Putri Outstanding Jewellery Designer Competition 2013 is created to discover, recognize and nurture young jewellery design talents, who are passionate about and dedicated to the art and craft of jewellery. Designers are required to design a piece/ set of jewellery for former Miss Malaysia and Beam Artiste Ms Andrea Fonseka – the official “face” of the design contest and one of the judges on the esteemed panel.
